We Got the big news a few days ago, FFXIV ONfreakingLINE will be out next year. WOW, I didnt see that coming at all. Of course I couldnt be more happy about it. I have been saying for a long time now how FFXI was just getting old and you just do the same things over and over and over again. I continued to play it because…well, its Final Fantasy and I love the game, just new I needed something different to do. I never thought they would give us a brand spanking new mmorpg FF game. I have been hating you square enix since April when you messed up my campaigning, but I will forgive you now cause you have made up for it.

As excited and happy as I am about this unexpected news, I am also sad. I will not be able to play both games, I wouldnt even want to. But my characters will be over 6 years old when the new game comes out and sitting in my mog house tonite thinking about it, it felt like was losing my best friend. Yeah I know I still have a good year to go, but I am missing them already.

This prolly all sounds corny to anyone who hasnt experienced this game, but it truly is unlike any other. I sat in my mh, looking at everything I’ve collected over the years, each piece of furnishing has a memory. Josh says he will sell his characters, but I just couldnt do that, I dont even think I will be able to delete mine. I will just put them away and maybe pop in every so often…maybe, till they finally shut down the servers, I’m just to sentimental, I couldnt stand the thought of anyone else running around on my characters.

Anyway, in the meantime, before FFXIV comes out, I’m gonna make as many new memories as I can and make videos because my time in Vana’diel has definatly been memorable.
